Happy camp is surrounded by the
Klamath National Forest. We have many different hiking trails in our
area ranging from simple 1 hour hikes to multi day hikes (including the
world famous PCT - Pacific Crest Trail.)
Fall is one of the most scenic times
in the KNF - The falls colors here are as spectacular as back east!
Spring has comfortable day hiking - everything is green - but is subject
to rain showers.
Summers here at hot. Plan on
sticking close to the creek trails and river trails so you can swim in the deep
swimming holes to keep cool.

Happy Camp is also a great starting
point for access to the Marble Mountain Wilderness.
Klamath River Resort Inn offers shuttle service to bring you to trailheads and also pick you. If you are (or were) an overnight guest at the lodge we offer free car parking so your car does not sit at a remote trailhead for days.
