Klamath River Resort Inn is a historic riverfront adventure lodge with Guided Klamath River Rafting trips & self guided kayak rental trips right on the banks of the Klamath River 2 miles upriver from the community of Happy Camp, California. 

You will fall in love with our rustic lodge catering primarily to outdoor enthusiasts who value active (do something) vacations (rafting, hiking, fishing, hunting, gold panning, paddling....) and have a realistic budget  - $59 to $99 for a standard room.

Our guided Klamath River rafting trips depart directly from our lodge and your car stays safely parked at our lodge the entire time. The Klamath's water tempertue is at least 15 degrees warmer then the Sierra rivers making it very family friendly. And because we are a little farther away, we don't get the over crowded suitation where boats are lined up the whole river run like you do in the Sierras or on the Rogue River. On the Klamath River rafting trips, you most likely will never see another raft - but what you will see are lots of wildlife including osprey, herons, bald eagles, bears, otters, and more.

For the fishermen we rent Drift Boats and shuttle you and the boat upriver and you get all day to fish the legendary Klamath River in the Cade Mountain Canyon upriver from KRRI.

Why stay in the middle of the town of Happy Camp when you can stay on the river - didn't you drive all that way for the nature!  Sit out on the green lawns and soak up the sun - then jump in the river or our creek and cool off.  Paradise!

The Klamath River in front of the lodge is very wide and generally about 3 feet deep and approx 70 degrees in the summer - swimming and tubing heaven. 

We have over 4 acres of park-like grounds.  The Inn has only 8 lodge rooms which insures that you have plenty of elbow room and great peace and quiet.

Sit on the porch of the lodge and listen to the salmon jump and watch the kayakers float by and the deer play in the open fields across the river - or even on our lawn!
