Happy Camp, Ca. is located in extreme
Northern California in Siskiyou County. Happy Camp, CA lies on the mighty Klamath
River at the confluence of Indian Creek in the middle of the Klamath
National Forest. Happy Camp is about as far away from a big town as you
can get in the state. To the east lies Yreka about 1.5 hours away. To
the west lies Eureka about three hours away. Happy Camp is the largest
hamlet anywhere in between.
In the past, Happy Camp was in
important lumber and gold rush town. Today, tourists are the new
gold and timber. The area is a outdoor enthusiasts play ground
with world class fishing, hunting, gold panning, hiking, river
rafting etc. People come from all over to enjoy the solitude and
diverse nature found in the area.
