LODGE ROOMS

Half of our rooms feature new "Cal King Beds" - these beds are 7' long. The other half of the rooms have two new double long beds (same length as a regular king) in each room.

Every two rooms (1 cal king and two double beds) may connect to each other through a full kitchen. The kitchens are stocked with all the utensils, pots, and pans needed to prepare a gourmet meal. BBQs also available.

All rooms feature 27" TV's and satellite with over 150 channels including most premium movie channels.

All rooms have great views of the Klamath River and the surrounding Mountains.

Free WiFi Internet Access available in the guestrooms, porch, and the front lawns down to the river.

Our rooms are kept Spartan without a lot of "frill." We don't have too much artwork in our rooms because the view out the window to the river is better the any photo we could put on the wall. Our philosophy is that our guests do not come here to sit in their rooms - they come to get up early and go rafting, hiking, gold panning, fishing or other activities - come back at the end of the day and then take a shower. Then they eat dinner, watch the sunset over the river from the porch, send some time down by the river - perhaps with a guitar at a Campfire - and then turn in sleeping soundly on our awesome cal king beds.

We do have satellite TV (150 stations with nearly everything...) in the rooms - mostly for guests that just like to catch up on the news or for our winter guests who sometimes get snowed in or when it is too rainy to go out. But it's also there if you need to catch Jay Leno or David Letterman before you go to bed.

During the days, the 100+ year old sycamore trees keep the lodge in shade all day long and the rooms stay below 70. Because we are up in the mountains the nights always cool off nicely. Generally in the mornings you will need a sweatshirt before 9AM.

If you plan to spend the day locked in your room, we recommend that you just stay home. But let's say Grandma is coming to watch the smallest child who is too young to raft or kayak - reserve the suite for the extra room and it has strong AC.

A NOTE ON THE ENVIRONMENT

We live in this pristine area and want to do our part to keep it pristine. We try to implement procedures that are friendly to the environment. For instance, we do not provide little bottles of shampoo or other products. Not only are these miniature bottles filling up land fills but most people bring their favorite shampoos anyways. We only provide a small hand bar of soap.

Herbert Hoover Presidential Suite

The Presidential Suite is a deluxe two bedroom suite with three cal king beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped including electric range, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, waffle Iron, and dish washer. We have quality pots and pans, glassware, and dishes for up to 12 people.

The separate living room has a dining area and living area. The living area has a fireplace and 27" satellite TV. The living room also features dark leather sofa, leather love-seat, and leather chair with ottoman. The dining room has a 10 person wood table and chairs.

This suite is the perfect place for groups, families, entertaining or for your romantic getaway where you need more space.

The suite also has air conditioning.

The Presidential Suite will sleep up to 4 adults and up to a maximum total of six people.

Check-In time is after 3:00PM. Check-out time is by 11:00AM
